About the Author
Rose Kubo is a Health and Social Care professional with more than fifteen years’ experience supporting people, families and communities, including over seven years working directly with autistic people.
She is also the proud grandmother of a neurodivergent teenager. This personal journey, together with her professional experience, has deepened her understanding of the strengths, challenges and changing support needs that can accompany the teenage years.  Along the way, she has read and researched extensively about autism, learned from specialists, and interacted with other parents and families navigating similar experiences.
Through her books and practical resources, Rose aims to help parents, guardians and caregivers better understand their teenagers, strengthen communication and create supportive environments where young people can develop confidence, independence and the skills they need to flourish.
Rose holds a master's degree in Employment Studies and Human Resource Management but has dedicated her professional career to the Health and Social Care sector as a trainer, assessor and practitioner.
